Which cameras work with Safe Cam Mount?
The Safe Cam Mount is compatible with the Insta360 X2, X3, X4, X4 Air and X5 cameras. We are working on a GoPro/DJI-compatible product. Contact us for more information or to participate in the beta pre-sale.
Which helmets work with Safe Cam Mount?
The Safe Cam Mount is compatible with round helmets without holes or bumps on the upper surface. Helmets like the Supair Pilot and Icaro Nerv are not supported due to the limited contact area. Message us if you are unsure about the compatibility of your helmet.
Is the velcro on Safe Cam Mount strong enough?
Yes, the holding force of our velcro is approximately 8 kg (even more when new). That's more than enough for paragliding, aerobatics, speed flying, skydiving, wingsuit flying and BASE jumping.
Is 3D printed plastic durable enough?
Our production process has been rigorously tested for many years with a focus on high quality and repeatability (first prototypes were created in 2019). We use plastics that can withstand several thousand hours of sun exposure and rough handling without any signs of degradation.
When to use a bungee rope?
A bungee rope is meant to provide an additional layer of protection against camera loss during initial testing or extreme use. It has a breaking force of approximately 15 kg when stretched 300% - it can be torn off in case of line tangling.
